Music Analysis

For this music analysis I will analyze the song 'Three Little Birds' by Bob Marley.
INSTRUMENTS
-Drum kit: Bass drum (Low), Hi hat (High)
-Electric Bass (Low)
-Electric guitar (Midrange)
-Organ (Midrange)
-Male Vocals (Midrange)
-Percussion: Block (High)
MELODY (The role of the singer is to sing the melody)
-The melody is done by the male vocal singer.
-Contour: smooth
-Tonality: Major

RHYTHM
Syncopation: done by the rhythm guitar by muting the strings and strumming. The hi hat of the drum kit is also syncopated (it accentuates the offbeats).
Time Signature: The time signature of this piece is a simple 4/4 time signature. This means that there are 4 crotchets in each bar.
Repetition: There is a lot of repetition. For example, the organ always repeats the same phrase over and over again. It does it once, thn it stops and then it does it again. There is also repetition in the vocals where the male singer repeats the words of the chorus.

DYNAMICS
There arent much dynamics in this song, the song is more or less always at the same volume.

What do you believe is the number one thing that musicians are doing to ruin their chances at succeeding in the music industry? the most common reason why musicians never succeed in this business is they have a FEAR based mindset.
